"Last summer Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, opened in Porto Heli, a quaint fishing village a few hours from Athens. Most people have never heard of Porto Heli, but upon arrival I realized this is a big part of the appeal, as the remote location allows for a relaxing getaway. I spent two days there last August and my only complaints are that the service was slow (probably because they had just opened), and that our stay was not long enough. Beyond the fact that this glamorous 66-room boutique resort is visually stunning, making you feel instantly in the lap of luxury upon entrance, there is much to do and see. We enjoyed a delicious mimosa breakfast, swimming, tanning and cocktails poolside at the beach club, massages at the spa, workouts in the fitness center, and two amazing sunset dinners at the rooftop restaurant.
