"Arriving at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge, located deep within East Africa’s world-famous wildlife sanctuary, the Serengeti National Park, is a once in a lifetime experience. You are greeted with “Jambo!” which means “Hello!” in Swahili, big smiles, and a cool, damp cloth to wipe away the dust from the 45-minute 4X4 drive from the Seronera Airstrip. Stepping inside, you instantly feel the magic of this beautiful place, designed to blend into nature while still exuding upscale, African style sophistication. A grinning member of the hotel staff, dressed in traditional garb, leads us along an elevated wood walkway to one of the 77 secluded guest rooms. Our room is gorgeous, and upon entering, we are overwhelmed with excitement to see that our balcony overlooks the Serengeti plains, stretching out as far as the eye can see.
